Our tennis community is very active!

Wilchester women love to play tennis! We currently have three women’s teams: a Memorial League B-2 team that will play Thursday mornings; a West Houston Ladies Tennis Association (WHLTA) B-1 team that plays Wednesday mornings; and a second Memorial League A team that plays Tuesday mornings.

The Wilchester men are even more active with five men’s teams: Memorial League B-1, B-2 and B-3 that play on alternate Saturday mornings; a USTA 3.5 Doubles team that plays Thursday nights and a Monday night Houston Tennis Association 4.0 Singles team. Most Saturday mornings and Wednesday evenings are reserved for men’s practice if there are no matches.

Everyone is welcome to try out and/or join a team – most teams can be joined year-round! Contact the tennis director for details.

Fun mixed doubles is played on various Saturday nights September through May. These are BYOB and BYO appetizer tennis events – try one of these evenings out! This is a great way to meet your neighbors.
