We have tennis rules to allow members to get optimum enjoyment from our tennis facilities. However, courtesy, consideration and common sense will accomplish more than rules.

• Wilchester courts are for use by MEMBERS and their ACCOMPANIED GUESTS only.
  • Please - guest limit should be 3 (1 court only) during peak usage time
  • Only tennis may be played on the courts
  • Members are responsible for their guests’ behavior
    
• DRESS CODE: Tennis apparel only. That includes:
  • Only white-soled court shoes
  • Shirts must be worn at all times
    
• LIGHTS OUT: 10 PM Sunday – Thursday; 11 PM Friday and Saturday
  • Please turn the light switch(s) to “off” on the pole next to the door that exits onto the park before you leave for the evening
  • Even if the lights turn off, the switch must still be placed in the “off” position so they don’t automatically come on the next evening
    
• MAXIMUM COURT TIME: 60 minutes for singles/90 minutes for doubles if players are waiting.
  • Please post the time before play begins
    • If a player is waiting for his partner when a court time becomes available, he must post the time immediately.
    • If partner fails to show up within 15 minutes, he relinquishes rights to the court to the next group waiting.
  • Please use common sense and courtesy when other members are waiting
    
• PLEASE PLAY WITH THE COURT DOORS CLOSED AND LOCKED.
  • This is for your safety and prevents non-members from using the courts
  • Don’t open the court doors for anyone who claims they forgot their key– every member must bring their own key to use the courts.
    
• COURT RESERVATIONS: Courts may be reserved 2 days in advance by signing sign-up sheet posted courtside.
  • EXCEPTION: league play (matches) has priority at all times.
