ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL COMMITTEE First a reminder: Most changes to the outside of your house, except landscaping, are governed by the deed restrictions. This includes exterior changes to your house , paint, play sets, and pools. Even small changes that you feel are fully in compliance with the deed restrictions should be sent to the Architectural Control Committee for Approval. The last general revision to the deed restrictions was made almost 10 years ago. Many people have made comments that some of the provisions should be changed. I want to collect all ideas to determine if there is much support for making changes. If there is a section that you feel should be changed or eliminated, or if there are additional restrictions that you feel should be included in the deed restrictions, please send your suggestions to Forbes Alcott, 13618 Indian Creek Road, or FAlcott@houston.rr.com. I’ll consolidate the suggestions that have some support and then post them on the web site for further comment. The final version will be voted on by the neighborhood. Changes to the deed restrictions require approval of the owners of a majority of the lots in Wilchester West. (Section 8.01) |
