The Wilchester neighborhood is located in the wooded Memorial area south of I-10/Katy Freeway, north of Buffalo Bayou, and bordered approximately by Wilcrest and Glenchester.
The subdivision was developed from a forest of native oaks and pines. Buffalo Bayou and Terry Hershey Park provides a natural setting for walking, biking or nature studies.
Each homeowner has membership in Wilchester Club, which owns and maintains pools, a park and tennis facilities within the subdivision.
Our subdivision has its own homeowners association called the Wilchester Owners Committee, which does the following, among other things:
- Ensures deed restriction compliance and enforcement
- Oversees an Architectural Control Committee
- Contracts with Precinct 5 Constables for full time security surveillance
- Contracts with Waste Services for trash pickup from the back of the home recycle pickup
